Chapter one
How my life changed
Well it all started on the saddest day of my life. I was only 12 years old my mom was on a very important business meeting in London. My mom left me with my step dad he was so mean to my mom I don't understand why she was still with him but I guess it was not really my decision so I had to live with it, like they say what does not kill you will make you stronger. Alright back to the story. So I bet you are wondering what happened that made this the saddest day of my life. Well it all started when my mom got on that air plane. She told she would call my when she was half way there but I never got her call it started to think she just forgot to call me. But that is when the phone rang I sprinted to the phone. “Hello” I said, hello who is this “the man said” , this is Evan “I said”, hi Evan is your step dad there “the man said”, yes hold on one sec “I said”, hey there is some one on the phone for you “I said”, my step dad got up and took the phone, hello “he said”, hi I’m so sorry but your wife’s plane crashed in the ocean I’m so sorry can you put your son back on “the man said”, yes “he said”, Evan phone, hello “I said”, hi again I have some bad news your mom’s plane crashed “the man said”. The phone fell out of my hands I felt like I was going to faint. My step dad didn’t seem too sad but I was. I didn’t know how to fell. That’s when I decided to run away. The next day I started packing things to bring with I didn’t have much money but it was enough for awhile. Anything is better than staying with my step dad. I wish my dad was still here I never know what happened to him if he was here life would be much better. So then next day is when I ran away. I survived for a couple days. Then on the tenth day I was in a back ally all by myself or that’s what I thought but I was not. I started to here strange noises then out of the darkness it appeared, I was not sure what it was it was like half man half something, Hello “it said” what do you want “I said” I want you dead “it said” why what did I do “I said” its not what you said its what you are “it said” what do you mean who I am “I said” don’t play dumb with me kid you’re a demigod “it said” It pulled out its weapon just as it was about to swing it was deflected by another sword. Don’t who I will protect you “she said” NO!! Not you again “it said” that’s right its me “she said” all I saw was a bunch of flashes. When it was over it was died. How did you kill that thing “I asked” a lot of experience “she said” thank you for saving me “I said” no problem “she said” by the way the name is Meg “she said” nice to meet you Meg my name is Evan “I said” nice to meet you Evan “Meg said” help me make a fire will you ok “Meg asked” so we started a fire. I never really got a good look at her till now she was very pretty she had black hair she looked like she was about sixteen or seventeen. I could tell she had been in some fights lately because she had some scares on her face. So what are you doing all by your self out here “Meg asked”. So I told here about my mom and what happened and how I left home. Wow that's pretty brave to do something like that to run away when your only twelve years old “Meg said” thanks but what are you doing here “ I asked” well its a lot like your story my mom died and I ran away “Meg said” Wow thats pretty crazy that we both have the same story “I said” yeah it is “Meg said”
